Once upon a time, before maps and telescopes, the first peoples looked to the sky. They observed its patterns, learned from what they saw and created stories around the stars above them.

Joshua Tree’s dark skies invite you to reconnect with that ancient relationship to the night sky. Each season reveals something new—the Milky Way, constellations, planets, nebulae and shooting stars.

This private experience begins with an introduction to the sky above you, blending details about what you’re seeing with the stories, history and mythology connected to the stars.

From there, you’ll settle beneath the open sky for a sound bath, allowing what you’ve just discovered to become part of a deeply immersive experience of sound, desert and stars.
 

What to Expect

I work with an immersive blend of crystal quartz singing bowls, Himalayan and Japanese bowls, chimes and other vibrational instruments selected to complement the evening.

Many guests describe the combination of sound, stillness and open sky as almost weightless—as if they are floating somewhere between the earth and the stars.

I provide comfortable mats and blankets with seasonal adjustments for the desert weather.
