Note: Due to the nature of this ceremony, timings wil vary; please be flexible. Treat yourself to a powerful Shamanic Journey with a Sound Bath and Hapé Ceremony experience. Surrender to the healing power of sound and plant medicine and connect deeply and intimately with your spiritual world. We will begin by honoring our sacred land for her healing gifts; we will ground through breath and sound and connect with our centers of energy. Hape will be served by blowing a small amount through each of your nostrils using a tepi (a specially made pipe). When Hapé enters your nose, it immediately permeates through your mucous membranes releasing toxins, mucus, and other unwanted things in the body, helping purify your system and strengthening your immunity. Hapé is a powerful, sacred shamanic medicine made by ancient tribes and indigenous cultures for thousands of years. Hapé is a pulverized mix of Nicotiana Rustica (a type of tobacco tree also known as Mapacho) and ashes from other plants according to the tribe who prepared it. When served in a manner that honors the traditions Hape can provide insight, guidance, protection, cleansing and healing. It is a means to focus the mind by decalcifying the pineal gland, and releasing energies that do not serve you. As you continue to journey, immerse yourself in somatic sound waves Various healing instruments are incorporated in the sound bath to provide you with a soothing, relaxing experience charged with therapeutic sounds that will leave you with a lasting impression. A Sound Bath is a live, immersive, meditative experience for your brain, body, and soul. As you relax (sit or lie down) sound vibrations will wash over you, taking you on an expansive inward journey. After your session, we will integrate over a cup of fresh tea. This sound experience is offered in a nature environment in a clear dome (with controlled temperature) to maintain a connection to the healing vortex that is the Joshua Tree desert. After your session, you are welcome to take a stroll around the lake. NOTE: For clarification purposes: Hapé is legal in the USA and does not contain any hallucinatory agents. ** WARNING **Attending the ceremony is at your discretion. Hapé is a safe medicine, but please keep in mind if you have severe sinus problems or are allergic to tobacco, the ceremony should be avoided. Also, avoid it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Sound therapy should be avoided if you have serious mental health issues
